Rick Ross Suffers Seizure During Flight This Morning

Miami hip-hop star, Rick Ross, is reportedly unconscious and paramedics are currently “desperately trying to resuscitate him”, reports TMZ.

Apparently, Rozay was aboard a flight, taking him from Ft. Lauderdale to Memphis this morning (October 14), when he lost consciousness.

The plane was forced to make an emergency landing.

Airport EMTs have him on a gurney at an unknown airport, where they are administering CPR, while members of Rick’s entourage are standing by, some of them “extremely emotionally upset.”

One source tells TMZ, the 35-year-old rapper may have suffered a seizure.

Ross was on his way to Memphis to celebrate the grand opening his new Wingstop restaurant chain.

Update (via TMZ) 10:36 AM PST: A witness tells TMZ, Rick fell unconscious right after take-off. We’re told his entourage jumped out of their seats to alert plane personnel — at which point a doctor on board administered CPR on the rapper. The plane made an emergency landing right away — and we’re told, as Rick was being wheeled off the aircraft, he appeared to show signs of life.

Update: (via TMZ) 10:57 AM PST: Police confirm Ross has been transported to a nearby hospital. A family member tells TMZ, Rick is currently under close supervision and is doing fine. We’re told drugs and alcohol were not involved.

Update: (via Twitter) 11:05 AM PST: Rick Ross has begun tweeting again, saying he’s ok. In response to a tweet from veteran rap journalist, Elliott Wilson, the rapper wrote: “never dat homie..we outchea #mmg powercirle!!!!
