Big Sean Takes Deal In Assault Case

Big Sean caught a major break in his sexual assault case, stemming from an arrest back in August.

According to TMZ, the Detroit rapper will not be charged with counts of sexual abuse and forcible touching, for allegedly sexually assaulting and underage girl following a concert in upstate New York.

However, prosecutors want him to plead guilty to a separate charge.

The 23-year-old rapper (real name: Sean Anderson) was arrested on August 4, following a concert at Artpark State Park. He was picked up and booked on charges of forcible touching, unlawful imprisonment, and sexual abuse.

Sean was later released after posting $500 bail.

Following the arrest, the rapper released a statement through his lawyer denying the allegations.

TMZ has learned prosecutors have agreed to drop the first two charges on the condition that Big Sean plead guilty to misdemeanor unlawful imprisonment,. which carries a $750 fine.

His lawyer, Sott Leemon, told TMZ that his client has accepted the terms, has paid the fine. However, he insists “he did not engage in any type of sexual misconduct.”
