Future calls Drake out for being MIA from “Tony Montana” Video

Apparently Drake missed the memo that a collaboration with newcomer Future also requires an appearance in his music video.

The Atlanta-based rapper recently spoke to The Source, calling Drake’s absence from his “Tony Montana” video “a slap in the face.”

“When I talked to him, I told him [Drake] when you do this, make sure you know what you’re doing ‘cause this is my baby,” Future said. “It was basically like a slap in my face because you should’ve did it from someone from another one who was gonna get in the video.”

The visual for the well-received record was shot in the Dominican Republic and shows Future running the Santo Domingo streets with an entourage of kids on his quest for “mas cuarto.” Only remnants of Drizzy in the video are his background ad-libs, no verse included.

Future took the lack of contribution as a gift and a curse, saying that Drake’s absence allowed him and director Jessy Torerro to shoot the video like a film.

Future insists he holds no hard feelings towards the Young Money artist and salutes him for coming on the record but did add his own wisdom for future reference in upcoming projects.
