Whether watching the throne or watching the crib, Jay-Z still makes time to give back.
Shawn Carter will be performing two historic concerts at Carnegie Hall to benefit the United Way of New York City and the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation on Feb. 6 and 7. But in order to witness the intimate performances, fans will have to shell out.
Tickets went on sale to the public Monday afternoon, priced at $2,500 and $5,000. Box seats are available, starting at $15,000. The official website for Carnegie Hall is offering a slight discount, selling tickets at $1,500 and under.
All the money will go towards fighting poverty, increasing timely graduation rates and making education affordable and accessible for low-income students across New York.
