According to TMZ, court papers indicate that the 36-year-old baller was sued by Aydin & Company Jewelers back in 2010 after he stiffed them on a $375,000 bill.
When Iverson failed to respond to the suit, the judge issued a default statement that ordered he pay back nearly $860,000 for the bling, court costs, interest and attorneys fees.
Despite the judgement, Iverson still didn’t pay. So earlier this month, the judge signed off on an order which allows the store to recoup their loss directly from Iverson’s Wells Fargo bank account.
At press time, it was unclear if they store has been able to collect.
Iverson’s camp has not commented.
