Rihanna is set to roll out a new competition reality show for aspiring stylists later this year, dubbed “Styled To Rock.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the singer’s show is currently in production, with a 10-episode season confirmed for the Style Network.
It will feature 12 up-and-coming designers, who will compete against each other for the opportunity to style A-list talent in entertainment.
Among the talent is Pharrell, who has been tapped to appear on the show, as a mentor to the contestants.
“We are delighted to have Pharrell, who is a driving force in both the music industry and fashion world, serve as a mentor on ‘Styled to Rock,’ ” said Salaam Coleman Smith, president Style Media. “Pharrell’s unique aesthetic and commitment to individuality combined with Rihanna’s vision for this series will enable our aspiring designers to hone their craft and learn from the very people who set the trends.”
